Chemistry at Wichita State University

The WSU Chemistry Department consists of top-notch faculty members who pride themselves in innovative research and quality education at all levels. Our department offers the following degrees:

Undergraduate Programs

  • ACS-accredited Bachelor of Science, including a Biochemistry option
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry - PreMedicine
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Business
  • Bachelor of Arts

Graduate Programs

  • Master's of Science
  • Ph. D.

Students who graduate from the department gain experience in cutting-edge research methods and expertise in state-of-the-art instrumentation. Their research is focused on areas of national importance such as health, alternative energy, and advanced materials.
