What We Stand For:

The mission of the African American Student Association is to be a positive and productive representation of the African American community on and off the Wichita State University campus. We promote proactive leadership, scholarship, community outreach, and student empowerment. We embrace our cultural heritage, unity, and the appreciation of diversity.

 

How We Do It:

  • Provide programs that demonstrate African-American culture and history in a positive way
  • Promote leadership and empowerment among the African-American student body
  • Help in volunteerism efforts around the community
  • Promote unity and pride among the African-American student body

 

Meetings:

        SEPT: 12th and 26th

        OCT: 10th and 24th

        NOV: 14th

       DEC: 12th
* All meetings will be on Saturdays

    MEETING PLACE AND TIME:

    RSC room 314 12:00-1:00pm
