
1. Go to a meeting of the committee of your choice. See below for committee information and meeting times.
2. If after the meeting you have decided to join, stay so the chair can take you through a brief New Member Orientation.
3. Fill out an application for SAC Membership during the Orientation.
4. You will receive your SAC T-Shirt and become a Full Member once you have earned 10 SAC Points.
Attend weekly committee meetings
Assist with their committees' events and promotional activities
Maintain regular communication with their committee chair and the VP of Membership
Be a positive example of SAC
Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
Is one of the largest student organizations on campus
Hosts over 150 programs annually
Helps to develop leadership skills
Co-sponsors events with campus organizations and departments
Is a student-run body of 11 executive council members
Membership ranges from 50-100 members in an academic year

SAC welcomes members any time throughout the semester and is happy to help them grow in any way. Valuable workplace skills can be learned through planning and executing events, including: time management, working within a committee, communication and problem solving skills, and, of course, how to have fun while doing it all!
