Goal

The Advanced Networking Research Center has three goals:
  • Research
  • Training
  • Education

Research

The ANRC performs both experimental and theoretical research. Since Wichita is home to leading airplane companies, some of the research focuses on networking applications inside an airplane. Several research problems are unsolved while dealing with on-board networks. Security is one such problem. Click Here for details of ongoing research projects.

Training

The ANRC houses the Cisco systems supported Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) preparation lab. The CCIE certification is one of the most difficult certification to achieve. The CCIE lab allows our clients to practice realistic and difficult network scenarios. The feedback from our customers shows that the CCIE lab at WSU is very popular among the networking community.

The ANRC also customizes network training as needed for different companies and groups. This includes hands-on training on Cisco routers and switches. For details Contact Us.

Education

The research developed in ANRC is incorporated into several networking courses offered by the ECE department at WSU. For details of networking courses, Click Here.
