Center for Storage Networking Research (CSNR)

The Center for Storage Networking Research (CSNR) in the Advanced Networking Research Institute (ANRI) focuses on research which contributes to the performance, reliability, and security of Storage Area Networking. The research topics include:

• SAN Drive Performance
• SAN Data Deduplication
• Disk Cache with Virtualization
• SAN Quality of Service (QoS)
• VM Migration
• SAN Metadata Analysis

The research center has excellent lab facilities supported by NetApp (formerly LSI) and Cisco Systems. The available test equipment includes various storage controllers, drive arrays and fibre channel switches.
