Illinois State BPA Collegiate Classic

The ISPBA Tournament begins with two three-game team sets on the first day of the tournament. Teams return for a second day in which they will bowl ten Baker games. The top eight teams in each division will automatically advance to the match play round. Teams will compete against three other teams in their flight. After bowling a two-game match, the two lowest scoring teams in each flight will be eliminated, until a champion is determined.

Jayhawk Collegiate Classic

The Jayhawk Collegiate Classic consists of six team games and 12 Baker games. All scores are scratch with no bonus pins added. The top eight teams in each division advance to a single elimination best two out of three match play. Teams will be seeded based on their total pinfall after the six team and 12 Baker games.

National Collegiate Team Match Games

National Team Match Games is a two day tournament. On the first day, teams will bowl six team games with scheduled match play. During the second day, teams will bowl three additional team games. The top eight men's and women's teams will advance where they will compete in a three-game match play round. The champion is determined on total pinfall including bonus pins. To determine bonus pins, each game, each team will bowl against a team assigned to the same pair of lanes as well as the two teams on an adjacent pair of lanes. Each team receives a match-play bonus in addition to their scratch game. For each opponent defeated, the team will earn 50 points. In the event of a tie, each team will earn 25 points.

Leatherneck Classic

The Leatherneck Classic consists of six team games the first day of the tournament and four four-game Baker matches on the second day. After the Baker matches, the top 8 men's and women's teams with the the highest total pinfall including bonus pins will be seeded into a bracket match. Next, they will compete in a best of three match with the winners advancing.

Collegiate Shootout

The Collegiate Shootout contains two rounds of team match-play (3 games), followed by a Baker-game match-play round, which consists of four four-Baker-game matches (16 Baker games total). Each game, each team will bowl against the other team scheduled on the same pair of lanes as well as the two teams on the adjacent pair of lanes. Each team receives match-play bonus pins. For every opponent defeated, the team will earn 80 pins. In the event of a tie, each team will earn 40 pins.

Las Vegas Invitational

This annual invitational tournament is one of college bowling’s largest tournaments. This tournament has been conducted for more than 30 years. The format of the event is nine team games, with a cut to the top 16 men's and top eight women's teams, finishing with a “bracket” final, single elimination.

Blue & Gold Classic

Hoosier Classic

The Hoosier Classic is a two day tournament and includes nine conventional team games on three demanding lane conditions. A cut is made to the top eight men's and top eight women’s teams for a bracket final; best three out of five matches.

ITC Sectional Qualifier

This event is the first and most important step to advance to the National Championships. Four Sectionals are conducted across the USA, with the top 64 men's and women's teams, in seasonal power rankings, advancing. Each team will bowl 64 Baker games with total pinfall determining the top four teams from each sectional; these teams advance to the 16 team field at the Intercollegiate Team Championships.

USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships

The Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) is a total Baker game tournament. At this point, over 180 teams will have gone through the same elimination process. The top 16 teams in the country are those participating at the ITC. Teams will bowl 32 Baker games to determine what seed they will be before going into the double elimination bracket. When the brackets are complete, the top two teams still in contention will bowl a match, normally taped on national television, to determine the men’s and women’s collegiate bowling team National Champions.
