The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University has exchange agreements with universities in other countries around the world and is also a member of the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). Exchange students who are interested in studying at WSU should first contact their university’s international office for information on exchange programs. Students need the approval from their university for an exchange place at WSU.
Exchange students generally study at WSU for one or two semesters on the exchange. For the application procedures and application form please download the Exchange Student Application (.pdf).
Once, exchange students have been accepted to WSU, they will receive an acceptance packet with information regarding orientation, registration, accommodations, etc. Exchange students preparing for their semester at WSU should read the Guide for Exchange Partner Institutions.
In addition to the Guide for Exchange Partner Institutions, students should visit the website of the Office of International Education (www.wichita.edu/international) at WSU for more information for international students.
The Barton School of Business coordinates an International Buddy Program for exchange students. This program matches up the exchange student with a current business student at WSU. Students can complete the International Buddy Form to request a buddy and mail it with their application or send it via e-mail to ann.burger@wichita.edu Exchange students can also complete the form to request a buddy after they arrive to WSU.
