Summer 2009 Programs with our Partner Universities
Berlin School of Economics (FHW- Berlin)
Spend the summer in Berlin, Germany and earn academic credit toward your business degree at WSU. There are several different summer programs at our exchange partner university- FHW Berlin in Germany that will allow you take business classes taught in English or you can select a program to study the German language and culture. These programs are 3 to 4 weeks long and students can earn between 3 to 5 U.S. credits. The cost varies depending on which program you choose. Jonkoping International Business School (JIBS- Sweden)
Spend the summer in Jonkoping, Sweden and earn academic credit toward your business degree at WSU. There are two different programs to choose from relating to business. You can study International Entrepreneurship and Venturing or International Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Classes are taught in English and students can earn 6 U.S. credit hours during the 4 week program. These programs also include social and cultural events as well as company visits. *Students interested in studying in Berlin or Jonkoping this summer 2009, should complete the application process as soon as possible by submitting the WSU study abroad application and supporting documents, along with the application for the program you choose to apply for, to Ann Burger in the business advising center, Clinton Hall 114. Applications will need to mailed to the partner universities at least 2 weeks prior to their deadlines.
ISEP exchange/direct summer programs
Through the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), WSU business students can choose from various short-term summer programs ranging from 3 weeks to 2 months in length. Some of the programs offer business classes taught in English, while others focus on learning another language and culture. Below are some examples of summer programs through ISEP. European Travel Seminar - Summer 2010

WSU Summer Program 2009 in Puebla, Mexico
June 20-Aug. 1, 2009
• Six (6) WSU credit hours of Spanish language courses. Prerequisite: Spanish 210 or 3 years high school Spanish.
• WSU faculty teach most of the courses, given right in the hotel.
• Experience: 42 years in the same historic hotel, Hotel Colonial.
• Conversation partners from Puebla go out daily with pairs of students (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.).
• Lunch conversation leaders (native speakers) at each table 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Choice of staying in the Hotel Colonial all 6 weeks, in a home all 6 weeks, or 3 weeks in each.
• Travel to Teotihuacán and Oaxaca included in the price of the program.
• Optional travel to Acapulco.
