Entrepreneurship Scholarships

Scholarship Application Forms:

Prof. Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarship Application (due Jan. 11)

To apply for all other scholarships, please use the General Business School Scholarship Application (due Feb. 1)

All scholarship recipients must be declared entrepreneurship majors and, unless noted otherwise, must be full-time students enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours per semester at the undergraduate level or 9 hours per semester at the graduate level. Part-time undergraduate students must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 hours during the academic year and 3 hours during the summer session. Awards are for one year and are generally dispersed equally in the fall and spring semesters. Click here for individual scholarship guidelines and requirements provided by the WSU foundation.


Jabara Entrepreneurship Scholarship Competition

Scholarship Benefits: 

  • Two $20,000 four-year scholarships (award of $5,000 per year to each winner)
  • Mentoring from Mr. Fran Jabara, serial entrepreneur, former Dean of the W. Frank Barton School of Business and fouder of the Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE).
  • Given extra focus and mentoring from CFE faculty and staff.
  • Participate in exclusive opportunities within the CFE, WSU and Wichita.
  • To be part of an elite group of students and alumni.  The Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship is one of the largest and most prestigious entrepreneurship scholarships nationwide.

Criteria for Application: 

  • May 2013 high school graduate
  • Minimum 3.50 high school GPA
  • Minimum 24 composite ACT or equivalent
  • Declare a major in Entrepreneurship
  • Be admitted to WSU by January 1
