Come and spend a day in the dental hygiene field! Dental Day is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of dentistry and dental hygiene.

We have many exciting events planned for the day including hands-on interactive experience in our state of the art dental clinic. Participants will discover academic knowledge of dental terminology and the different fields of dentistry.

This camp is geared toward high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing an education in the field of dentistry. Lunch will be provided.

Program Highlights:

  • Program instruction by distinguished WSU faculty
  • Students will be able to experience what it is like to drill on teeth
  • Create a mold of your teeth
  • Get to use the latest dental tools
  • Learn what it takes to have a career in the dental field
  • Tours of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Building

Dental Day 2015 is to be announced soon!  Check back in early February for details regarding our Dental Day for juniors / seniors in high school interested in a career in dentistry.

What does it cost?
Dental Day is free; limited to 30 students.

What do participants need for Dental Day?
Participants will need to wear pants, a T-shirt and closed-toe shoes. Please note that participants are not allowed to wear shorts or flip flops to Dental Day because they will be touring the dental areas. If individuals have long hair, they should have it pulled back.
