New Dental Hygiene Degree
Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (Entry Level)

The Dental Hygiene Department has received approval from the Kansas Board of Regents for an entry level Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene (BSDH). The entry level BSDH will replace the existing Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene degree.

The proposal requested a Fall 2009 implementation date. Now the proposal has been approved, applicants to the program in Fall 2008 will be applying for the Entry Level BSDH degree.

The major changes with the BSDH degree are the increased prerequisite hours (44 hours) and the completion of the general education requirements. Click on the link below for a listing of the new prerequisite courses.
