Program Outline
Most students complete the sport management graduate course in 2-3 years. While in the graduate sport management program, students will complete an internship in one of a variety of sport settings. Graduates of this program are employed in a wide variety of settings, including intercollegiate sports, minor league professional sports, major league professional sports, park and recreation departments, and in the health club/fitness industry.
There is currently only one sport management class offered on-line -- KSS 711 Structuring and Scheduling Sport Tournaments. However, most instructors in the program utilize Internet and other technologies to enhance student learning environments. These instructors have placed syllabi, notes, powerpoint presentations, grade information, and other class materials on Blackboard for student use.
