Faculty Information

Faculty of Wichita State University are encouraged to attend the graduation ceremonies and march in the processional to show support and encouragement to the graduates. Faculty who will march should arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. For the spring ceremonies they should contact their individual college to see about any additional instructions.

Parking for faculty members is suggested in Lot 2, just north of the arena. Prior to the ceremony faculty will meet in the Media Room, which is located in the lower level of the arena. Signs will be posted in the arena concourse directing you where to go, or if you have questions you can ask one of the commencement volunteers.

For faculty needing regalia to wear, the WSU Bookstore will order rental regalia or help you purchase your own set. The deadline to order regalia through the bookstore for the Spring 2013 Ceremony is March 8, 2013, however faculty are encouraged to place their orders prior to this. Rush delivery charges may be applied to regalia orders that are placed after the deadline.
