MISSION STATEMENT

The Wichita State University Counseling & Testing Center supports the educational mission of the University by aiding students, faculty and staff in their emotional/psychological development, providing high quality testing and assessment services, and contributing to the professional education of graduate students in mental health professions. In addition, the Counseling & Testing Center strives to reach out to the larger metropolitan community by providing testing and assessment services to organizations and individuals.

The Counseling & Testing Center is committed to:

  • Providing counseling services with the highest ethical and professional standards
  • Creating optimal test environments in compliance with national professional testing standards
  • Promoting an atmosphere that encourages students, faculty, staff and community members to readily approach our numerous services
