Sam Taylor, Assistant Professor, is the author of Body of the World, a finalist for Foreword Magazine’s Poetry Book of the Year.  He is completing a second collection, poems from which have appeared in The New Republic, Hudson Review, Agni, Michigan Quarterly Review, and Poetry Daily.  He has received the Dobie Paisano Fellowship from the Texas Institute of Letters and the James Michener Fellowship from UT Austin, as well as fellowship residencies from the Corporation of Yaddo, The Vermont Studio Center, Djerassi, The Santa Fe Arts Institute, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
