Parking

All students, staff, and faculty should obtain a copy of the University Traffic Regulations and acquire the proper decal(s) for their vehicles. Student decals are issued each semester and are to be renewed at the beginning of each semester. Faculty and staff permits are issued on July and are valid until June 3Oth of the following year. All members of the WSU community are required to have a university permit when parking on campus. This will help University Police contact people if there is a problem with their cars while on campus.

Persons needing accessible parking permits must obtain an Accesible Tag or Hanging Decal from the State of Kansas, Department of Motor Vehicles. WSU Police can provide a one week temporary accessible parking permit. This temporary permit is not renewable.

WSU Traffic Regulations 4.16

"All vehicles parked in WSU designated accessible parking areas must display a current WSU parking permit or any handicapped parking permit issued in accordance with K.S.A. 8-161 and 8-1,125."

WSU Traffic Regulations 4.13

Temporary permits must be affixed to the left rear windshield of passenger cars, pickups, vans and station wagons. On convertibles the temporary permit will be affixed to the right front windshield. Exceptions to the permit location may be authorized by the University Chief of Police.
