Classes meet on select Saturdays (typically the first three Saturdays in a month)
The program consists of a total of 36 credit hours of graduate-level course work.
A typical schedule for a Saturday:
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Course 1
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch Break
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Course 2
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to students on class days.
Guest speakers and EMBA alumni will occasionally be invited to luncheons.
The Executive MBA program is structured for an executive's schedule. By meeting all day on select Saturdays, the EMBA program
allows you to focus on your job Monday through Friday and to focus on your future on Saturdays.
EMBA students enter the program as a cohort and proceed through the entire curriculum together. At the start of the fall
semester, EMBA students participate in an extensive, 2-day orientation. Students acclimate to the EMBA experience through personal assessment, leadership development and
effective teamwork activities. This is the only time students are required to be on campus other than for Saturday classes.
EachExecutive MBAcohort progresses in sequential fashion through the pre-planned schedule of courses. There are no surprises or scheduling inconveniences, no
registration forms to fill out, no closed classes and no waiting in line. In short, no hassles. The focus is on you and your responsibilities.
Classroom time is compressed and intense. However, the extensive professional experience of the participants and unique structure
of the program allow a maximum amount of course material in an accelerated timetable. Students are expected to complete significant work outside the classroom; formal study group
time is expected to facilitate this work. Completion of all course work with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. Classesmeet on the Wichita State University campus.
