Engineering with LEGO Robotics

for students entering grades 4-6 in Fall 2012

Come explore the world of robotics using the LEGO NXT kit! Campers will build robots with motors and sensors to perform tasks and respond to their environment. Once you have mastered the fundamentals, you will have your robot complete challenging courses. Learn about basic programming, problem solving, and teamwork. There are sections for both beginner and advanced robotics students.

Steve teaches fifth grade at McLean Science and Technology Magnet Elementary.  He leads robotics workshops for students at his school, and workshops for parents, teachers, and mentors at Wichita State University.  Steve has been bringing teams to the WSU Shocker MINDSTORMS challenge for 11 years.


Fee: $125 (25% discount for paid registration before May 1, 2012).
