Come and experience what it means to be an aerospace engineer at WSU by designing and flying your own aircraft, experience the nationally ranked research facilities at WSU, and come to understand how aerospace has impacted our society and how you can dramatically impact our future. We look forward to giving you hands on experience of building your own model plane and making it fly while learning the basics of what it takes to be an aircraft engineer, all the while having a great time on Wichita State’s campus.

Chris Wyant is currently the Applied Mathematics and Engineering (PLTW) teacher at Wichita East High School. He is very involved in Engineering Education research/application as well as providing students with opportunities to engage in engineering with hands-on activities. Mr. Wyant is known for his fostering of excitement and learning in his classroom. Mr. Wyant currently holds a B.S. General Physics from Kansas State University and M.S. Science Education from the University of Kansas.
Camp Fee: $450 ($25 discount for paid registration before May 1, 2014). Fee includes four nights' stay and all meals during the four-day camp. This is a residential camp; all campers are required to stay in Wichita State's residential halls (no exceptions).
