Each year the CoE hosts hundreds of school children in grades 6-12 for a morning of hands-on engineering activities and laboratory tours. Hands-on activies teach engineering principles through gliders, circuits kits, wind turbines, egg drop and more. Labs include wind tunnels, nanotechnology, virtual reality and others. Shocker Racing teams have their cars on display for the students to see.

A typical tour schedule includes:

  • 2-3 hands-on activities
  • 3-5 laboratory tours
  • 3-5 CoE student projects on display
  • Lunch, $3.50 per student (Optional)

How can I sign up my class for a tour?

  • Fill out the school tour registration form
  • A member of the EOH tour team will contact you with information
  • Registration for the 2013 Open House is now closed.
