Two $20,000 Scholarships

The W. Frank Barton School of Business awards two $20,000 Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarships each year to students majoring or double-marjoring in entrepreneurship. The scholarship is awarded over a four year period.


Eligibility Requirements

  • May 2015 high school graduate
  • Minimum high school GPA of 3.50
  • Minimum of 24 composite ACT
  • Admitted to Wichita State University by January 1
  • Declare an Entrepreneurship Major
  • Application deadline Friday, Februrary 13, 2015

Timeline:

  • Friday, February 13: Scholarship application due
  • Monday, March 2: Scholarship winners contacted
  • Tuesday, March 10: Winners announced & luncheon for the scholarship winners 

 Scholarship Luncheon:

The winners of the Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarship are invited to attend a luncheon at the Center for Entrepreneurship, Devlin Hall, WSU main campus on Tuesday, March 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Attending the luncheon will be Mr. Jabara, Dean of the College of Business, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurship faculty. The winner's parent(s) are also invited to attend the luncheon.
