 Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarship


Scholarship Details:

The W. Frank Barton School of Business awards two $20,000 Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarships each year to students interested in majoring or double-marjoring in entrepreneurship. The scholarship is awarded over a four year period.


Eligibility:

To be eligible to compete you must:

  • Be a May 2015 high school graduate
  • Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.50
  • Have a minimum of 24 composite ACT
  • Be admitted to Wichita State University by January 1
  • Declare an Entrepreneurship Major

Students wishing to compete must turn in a Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarship application by Friday, February 13, 2015.


Competition Timeline:

  • Friday, February 13, 2015: Scholarship application due
  • Tuesday, March 10, 2015: Winners announced
  • Tuesday, March 10, 2015: Luncheon for the scholarship winners from noon to 1:30p.m., Center for Entrepreneurship, Devlin Hall, 2nd Floor. 

 Scholarship Luncheon:

The winners of the Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarship are invited to attend a luncheon at the Center for Entrepreneurship, Devlin Hall, WSU main campus on Tuesday, March 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Attending the luncheon will be Mr. Jabara, Dean of the College of Business, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurship faculty. The winner's parent(s) are also invited to attend the luncheon.
