Faculty Senate

The Wichita State University Faculty Senate serves as the representative forum for the entire Faculty of the University and is charged with representing the Faculty in university governance. The President of the Faculty Senate is the primary spokesperson for the Faculty in governance issues.

The Faculty Senate is a representative body whose members are chosen by election. The constituent units are the colleges of Business, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Health Professions, the three divisions of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the University Libraries.

The Wichita State University Faculty Senate meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month in Clinton Hall Room 126, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. and you are most welcome to attend. If you would like more information, please contact the Office of the Faculty Senate office, ext. 3504.
