The Vintage Chanteaurs

A choral performance ensemble for singers age 50 and older. Come join other singers in exploring the great choral literature from Bach to Brubeck. Emphasis will be in reconnecting with the joy of singing in a relaxing and supportive atmosphere.

Renowned choral conductor Dr. John Paul Johnson will make each rehearsal a memorable experience.

Course Length: September 15 – December 8
Time: Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Fee: $90 payable by September 1 OR $50 by September 1 and $50 by November 1

Dr. John Paul Johnson

Dr. John Paul Johnson is the director of the School of Music at Wichita State University. Johnson has more than thirty years teaching experience in college, public school and church music in Kansas, Texas, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Johnson has been conductor-in-Residence at Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland, and Trinity College of Music of London, England and has conducted numerous concerts at Carnegie Hall. He has served as conductor, clinician, or adjudicator for more than 600 events throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
