The sculpture program offers the B.F.A., B.A., and M.F.A. degrees. The undergraduate degrees offer a varied and rich learning experience in three-dimensional media. The sculpture studios where clay figure modeling, steel fabricating, wood and stone carving, and bronze or aluminum casting take place continually, exposes the student to the diverse sculpture-making processes and how they relate to other artists's concepts. The M.F.A. is the terminal degree in studio sculpture. It is for qualified students planning careers as professional artists, either working independently or as artist-teachers on the college or art school levels. Graduate Teaching Assistantships with tuition reduction and stipend, and Graduate Scholarships with full tuition waiver are available.
