$500 Scholarship drawing for Spring 2010
WSU’s Office of Financial Aid is planning a terrific event for you and your family!! Come join us for a financial aid workshop to learn about the financial aid process, how to apply and much more!! This is a one-stop shop-detailing the financial aid process and steps involved in receiving financial aid assistance. Staff will also be available throughout the program to offer advice and to answer your specific questions. Door prizes will be awarded to many students in attendance with the GRAND PRIZE being a $500 Scholarship for spring 2010 that can be used by current or guest students! Open to all students and the general public. The Office of Financial Aid will be hosting several agencies and booths that offer tuition and financial aid assistance for higher education including the Kansas Board of Regents, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Affairs and much more. All students or prospective students who attend the fair can enter into a drawing for a $500 scholarship for the Fall 2010 semester here at WSU. Learn about all of the opportunities that might be available to you.

Receive individual assistance in getting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completed. Students or families will need to bring copies of 2009 tax information and 2009 W-2’s. Students in attendance can register for a $500 scholarship for the Fall 2010 semester here at WSU.

Come in out of the cold for a little hot chocolate and answers to your financial aid questions!! Do you want to know how you can qualify for federal aid? Would you like to know more about the financial aid process? What is the difference between Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford student loans? All students, staff and faculty are invited to stop by to visit with members of the financial aid office to get answers to these questions.
