TENNIS COURT RULES

The policies of the Heskett Center have been developed to keep the facility and equipment in good condition and to assure your safety while using the Heskett Center. If you have any questions or need assistance, please go to the Heskett Center Business Office.

Use of the Heskett Center is a privilege. Failure to comply to policies and directions of the staff governing participation, equipment and/or conduct may result in suspension from the Heskett Center or it's programs.

  1. The Heskett Center (HC) tennis courts are for currently enrolled WSU students and HC members (current membership required).
  2. You will need to bring your ID card with you and be prepared to show it if asked by a HC staff member or WSU Police.
  3. Members can bring a guest. However, the member must be participating on the same court with the guest.
  4. Dependents age 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is a currently enrolled WSU student or current member. Dependents age 13-18 may participate without supervision, provided they have their HC dependent card with them.
  5. One valid ID is required for each court.
  6. Shoes that leave marks (i.e. black sole) are not permitted on the courts.
  7. Only tennis is allowed on the courts. Roller skates, skateboards, cricket, etc. are not permitted on the courts.
  8. Food, drink, and glass containers are not permitted inside the fenced court area (water is permitted).
  9. A court reservation system is in effect. You must check in to claim your court during business hours.
  10. Due to other university and Heskett Center programs and activities, the tennis courts may not be available at all times.
