Consortia

Wichita State University is a member of the following study-abroad consortia, providing even more opportunities for WSU students to experience an overseas study opportunity.

ISEP
The International Student Exchange Program is one of the largest exchange organizations in the world, and provides students with study-abroad choices in over l20 locations in Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and the South Pacific. The cost for WSU students is almost the same as living and studying on campus, regardless of the location, because students pay their regular WSU tuition and fees and room/board to WSU.

MCTS
The Maastricht Center for Transatlantic Studies is currently based in Maastricht, Netherlands. It provides students an opportunity to take classes in a variety of fields, with different courses offered every year. All classes are taught in English, but both students and faculty have come from the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. The program fee covers the housing and meal costs, resident permit fees, books, field trips, and on-site support. It is possible to enroll for an entire semester or for one or more blocks of about one month each.

NSE
Domestic students who participate in the National Student Exchange have an opportunity to participate in study abroad programs run by those U.S.-based universities. Students pay their regular WSU tuition and fees, and then pay their housing and meal costs to the host institution.
