History:

Wichita State University's South Campus, opened in January 2008, is part of the university's effort to bring quality higher education to the communities in southern Sedgwick County.

South Campus is housed in a 10,000-square-foot space in the Towne Center shopping center at 200 W. Greenway Blvd., Derby. The facility features six classrooms, a computer lab with 30 workstations, offices and student-service area. A variety of general education and specialized courses are offered, notably classes related to WSU's Accelerated Nursing Program.
