About the Terrace: The Sam & Jacque Kouri Sculpture Terrace was built in 1995 over the footprint of an exterior staircase that was removed to provide a wheelchair-accessible public entrance on the museum's ground floor. Displayed there are some of the smaller-scale works from WSU's outdoor sculpture collection that need to be in a more protected environment. The terrace is named in honor of Dr. Sam & Jacque Kouri, longtime friends and supporters of WSU and the Ulrich Museum of Art.
