The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures offers the Master of Arts in Spanish and participates in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program, which may include graduate work in French German Greek, Latin, Russian or Spanish.
This degree program allows for specialization in Spanish language and literature and in Latin American literature. Course offerings at the advanced and graduate level cover topics in literature, civilization, linguistics and translation: detailed descriptions can be found in the WSU Graduate Catalog.
The MA in Spanish has several unique features, including the well-established Summer Study Program in Puebla, Mexico (running since1966), computer-assisted language learning, and teacher training for our teaching assistants.
