Undergraduate Success Programs: OFDSS: Office for Faculty Development and Student Success collaborates with Wichita State University units to create and coordinate campus-wide initiatives that will improve student success, and we offer tools to aid faculty in the classroom.

Academic Advising: There are 6 different colleges associated with enrollment.  Depending on what degree chose by the student is dependent upon what college they are sent to for academic advising.

Supplemental Instruction: Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an international program developed to assist students with learning material in traditionally difficult classes. It is a series of weekly review sessions for students taking certain courses. SI sessions are led by a student who has previously succeeded in the course and focus on collaborative and active learning. Research has proven that students who participate in SI earn about half a letter grade better than those who do not.

Study Skills Workshops (Housed in OFDSS): OFDSS offers different workshops to teach students important skills. A few workshops they offer include; Time Management, Note Taking, Textbook Reading, Test Taking, Learning Styles, Finals Preparation.

GEEKS - Great Expectations Engineering Kansas Scholars or GEEKS is a free tutoring program available to any engineering student. Tutoring is available for math, science, and basic engineering classes. Group and individual sessions are offered throughout the academic year.

Student Involvement Office: Student Involvement is committed to providing opportunities for students to engage in co-curricular and extracurricular experiences to enhance their collegiate experience while at Wichita State.

Student Activities Council: SAC is one of the largest student-run organizations at Wichita State University and brings a variety of events and programs to campus each year. SAC also serves as a resource and provides support for other event-planning organizations on campus.

Campus Police Department:  Public safety is one of the primary goals of the Wichita State University Police Department. Effective partnerships between university police and all community members help reduce the opportunities for crime to occur.

Career Services: Career Services is here to empower their clients (students, alumni, faculty and staff) with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary for effective career development, and to build partnerships with employers to expand client career opportunities.

Center for Community Support and Research (CCSR): CCSR works closely with its partners to design a customized approach for creating and implementing individual, organizational, or community change. Their service areas include leadership development, organizational capacity building, community-based consulting, research and evaluation and our Mental Health initiative.

Campus Recreation: Campus Recreation offers a diverse line-up of fitness, recreation and leisure activities, including affordable membership rates, quality programs, equipment and services.
