Expertise: simulation-based training, medical human factors, human-robot interaction and teleoperation, statistics, neuroethics; chair of the Education Technical Group for the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society; co-chair of the National Ergonomics Committee for the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society


Joseph is a lifelong musician. He plays guitar, piano and composes music.
