I am originally from Ireland and have lived in and taught Mathematics in Ireland, Sweden, Germany and the United States. As well as teaching and researching Mathematics I love reading books on Science, History and Politics, running, biking, playing football (soccer to you Americans), occasionally drawing and painting, listening to The Clash and spending time with my wife. Note that the above activities are not mutually exclusive.
