Shocker Safe Ride

Designated Drivers LLC is the new contractor for the Shocker Safe Ride program. Designated Drivers will provide the same services as the old company, with a few changes.

Hours of operation are 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., 365 days a year. Students may call 978-RIDE (7433) starting at noon on weekends, and 7 p.m. on weeknights to schedule a pickup. There is no charge to students for the ride provided it is within the following boundaries: 45th Street North, 47th Street South, 127th Street East and 119th Street West. If the trip goes outside these boundaries, a $2 per mile charge is assessed. Tipping is encouraged.

Faculty and Staff may use the service for a flat fee of $14, with an additional $2 per mile if the trip goes outside the boundaries.

Designated Drivers also has executive limousine and Tahoe transportation available to WSU employees at a discounted rate. Call 944-0809 for your local personal and professional transportation needs.
