2007

• Howard & Helmer Architects hired to begin re-design of the RSC

2008

• Initial design concepts were presented by architects
• Project was put on "hold" due to economic climate

2009

• Plans were updated by architects to include integration of the Office of Multicultural Affairs into the student services area, and to create an office space for the WSU Alumni Association. All business offices were relocated to the second floor which required additional expansion of the building footprint to the north 
• Present project plans to various student, faculty and staff groups

2010

• Gain student fee approval and Kansas Board of Regents support for project
• Design phase begins

2011

• Architectural design and engineering work completed

2012

• Project goes out for construction bid by January 1
• Contract awarded by March
• Construction begins

2013

• Phase 1 construction projects completed

2014

• All construction completed by the beginning of the fall semester
