MINDSTORM Mania

In this SEEDS LEGO Mindstorms session, participants will be competing for a chance to be part of Wu’s pit crew. Wu needs new members to help tune the robots of his shop. Participants will be placed in teams and will have the opportunity to program new, unique and exciting challenges for Wu. The challenges include the line follower, race bot, bumper bot, and shop cleaner bot. Each challenge evokes critical thinking and develops further programming skills. Previous LEGO Mindstorms experience will be helpful but is not required. Participants will have a chance to learn about program blocks and enhance their programming efficiency. They will also have a chance to learn more about the various sensors used. The challenges will require a creative combination of programming logic and sensor selection in order to most efficiently negotiate the course.
