Hydropower

A company named H20 Solutions has come to WSU with a problem.  They are working on a new type of Hydropowered machine because the city wants to switch to more renewable energy sources.  It is up to the SEEDS future engineers to create a more efficient and better way to harness the energy of moving water.

The Mechanical Engineering department at Wichita State University needs help from the SEEDS future engineers to come up with a prototype water wheel design.  The SEEDS future engineers will be making a prototype water wheel to help H2O Solutions succeed in making Wichita’s electricity more renewable.  Moving water is a great resource to utilize but it is a difficult task to harness the power efficiently and will take engineering prowess and imagination to be able fulfill H2O’s needs.
