healthy environment to pursue your education and possibly have a little fun while you are here.
Getting Acquainted – Here are a few of Student Health’s upcoming activities
“Welcome to WSU” Student Health staff will be on hand during Move in day at Fairmount Towers on August 17th, 10 am – 2 pm. Look for
our tent in the courtyard to get information on our services and visit with some of our staff. We will also have staff at part of the check-in area inside the dining hall to help first time
housing residents verify their meningitis requirement or answer any questions for students and/or parents. Stop by and pick up a FREE welcome bag from Student Health Services!
SAC Kiss’um Bye’ Event Beat the Heat! Ice cold Freeze Pops! Wednesday, Aug 21, 11am -1pm. Stop by the
Student Health Services table to meet some of our staff and enjoy a Freeze Pop to help keep your cool.
Student Wellness Action Team (SWAT)! Stop by the SWAT table during the Student Involvement Fair on Aug. 28th, 11 am – 1 pm on the Hubbard Hall
lawn. SWAT is a fun and active student organization that focuses on health and wellness activities for college students. Membership is open to all currently enrolled WSU students.
Stop by SWAT’s table to learn more and join the fun! Remember to join SWAT for the Big Pink Volleyball event on Oct. 5th! (more info to come!)
“Providing “Dino-Mite” Healthcare for over 77 years” Student Health Services will be hosting an Open House
Aug. 29th from 11 am to 1 pm in the Student Health clinic at 209 Ahlberg Hall. Come meet our staff and enjoy a hotdog or snack while viewing a few ‘relics’ from
our years of service to the WSU campus. Don’t forget to sign up for your chance to win a prize in our raffle!
“Flu Fighters Flu Shots” Spread Shocker Pride and Health during this SAC Wu Wednesday event. On Sept. 18th from 10 am – 2 pm, in the Heskett Center
lobby, Student Health Services staff will be offering free flu shots to students. Stay Shocker Strong by being a “Flu Fighter”!
