Larry Ramos, Director

Larry Ramos is originally from Hutchinson, KS. He is a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Hutchinson Community College from 1977-1979. He received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kansas State University in 1983 and a Master's of Liberal Studies in 1999 from Wichita State University. Ramos began his professional career with SER Corporation in Kansas City, KS before accepting a counselor position with Special Services for Disadvantaged Students (TRIO Student Support Services) in 1985.
In 1995, he became the first director of the McNair Scholars Program and in 2001 became the director of TRIO Talent Search. Ramos enjoys spending time with family and friends. He takes pleasure in golfing, jogging and weight training. He listens to many genres of music and enjoys reading. His other passion is officiating. He has been a registered basketball official with the Kansas State High School Activities Association since 1998 and officiates middle school, high school and college contests.
Middle School Director

Stephanie Haynes is a graduate of Wichita State University. She has been with TRIO Talent Search for thirteen years. Prior to her becoming the Middle School Director she worked as Middle School Coordinator and an Educational Developmental Assistant.
As the Middle School Director, she works with 300 students throughout USD 259 providing the skills and tools necessary for students to succeed in middle school.

Mani Souriya is originally from Laos. She and her family came to the United States in 1979. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology and received her degree from Wichita State University in 2004. She continued on with a Master’s of Education in Counseling and received her graduate degree in 2006. She joined TRIO Talent Search in October of 2005. Mani enjoys working with high school students and she is passionate about their success. Aside from work, Mani enjoys spending time with her family, especially on poker nights. In her spare time, she likes to paint seascapes/landscapes and play the guitar. She is a proud aunt of Sania, Daniel, Sunita, Samuel, Lalita, Ismail and Sanonh.
Myron Richard, Educational Development Assistants

Myron Richard graduated with a bachelor's degree in general studies with an emphasis in criminal justice and ethnic studies from Wichita State University in 2006. He is currently holding a position as an EDA counselor (Educational Development Assistant) for the TRIO Talent Search. Myron's hobbies include coaching and playing basketball. He also likes to travel and meet new people.
J. Logan Stork
Financial Aid Coordinator

J. Logan Stork is originally from Guerneville, CA, a small town north of San Francisco. She has also lived in Oakland, CA and Providence, RI. She moved to Kansas with her husband Levente who also works at WSU teaching painting and drawing. She has happily adapted to Kansas life (and the exciting weather!) and has found the Wichita community to be very friendly, supportive and dynamic. She enjoys being a part of the TRIO family at Wichita State University and is proud to be a member of the TRIO Talent Search team. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history with an emphasis in Latin American art at San Francisco State University and is currently taking Spanish classes at WSU to further her studies. One day she hopes to be fully bilingual.

Tahmina Trisha is originally from Chittagong, Bangladesh. She has lived in Wichita, KS since she was six years old. She completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, at Wichita State University in 2010. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is excited about being a part of the Talent Search team.
Senior Administrative Assistant

Olivia Graves graduated early from Wichita South High School in December of 2008. She has been attending Wichita State University since the spring of 2008 while still a junior in high school. Since Fall 2009, she has recieved the TRIO/GEAR UP scholarship, where she joined the Student Support Services. She plans to major in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology. Olivia currently volunteers at the Sedgwick County Zoo as an event volunteer and ambassador. In fall 2011 she was accepted into the McNair Scholars Program. She is excited to see what the future holds.
