Wichita State hosted the 2008 Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism on October 2-3, 2008. The conference theme was “Changing
Demographics: Is Kansas Ready?” The conference, which was open to all faculty, administrators and staff at Kansas Regent’s Institutions, focused on presenting the data summarizing the future demographics of our student population and the implications of these changing demographics for institutions of higher education in Kansas in terms of policy, curriculum, teaching, and recruitment/retention.
