Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the program, the student must meet the following requirements:

• He/she must be considered low-income as defined by the federal government and/or must potentially be the first in the family to complete a baccalaureate degree. 
• He/she must be a resident of Kansas and be a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the U.S. 
• He/she must have completed eighth grade or have not yet completed twelfth grade. 
• He/she must demonstrate an interest to advance knowledge in the fields of Math and Science.

The selection of the student would be based on his/her high school transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation, and personal essays.
