 The Wichita State University Veterans Upward Bound program (VUB) is an educational and skills program designed specifically to serve the needs of today's Veterans.


We offer a unique range of services designed to prepare eligible veterans for success when they enter their chosen educational program:

        • whether it is at a 2-year community college
        • a 4-year college or university
        • a public or private school 
        • Vocational or Technical School

All services, including instruction, textbooks, advising, and supplies, are provided FREE of charge.

VUB is a TRIO Program funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is administered by Campus Life and University Relations at Wichita State University.  We serve veterans in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Butler County and Harvey County.  Our main office is located in Wichita on the Wichita State University Campus.
