Wichita State University's student-run Internet radio station (WSUiR) is committed to broadcasting a rich cross section of the musical diversity found at WSU and in our Wichita community. By using the Internet to stream performances of local bands, WSU music students and faculty, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and the music of diverse ethnic groups, WSUiR can share the talent and variety of Wichita musicians with the world. WSUiR is fueled by a group of passionate WSU students and faculty who believe in the rich cultural value our community has to offer. Our mission is to create a cooperative exchange of ideas and efforts within our community and with other communities globally.

WSUiR gives prospective students, parents of current students, and community members the opportunity to listen to the WSU Bands when attending a concert is not feasible. WSUiR broadcasts concerts of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Jazz Arts groups. In addition, WSUiR often broadcasts faculty recitals and WSU Symphony Orchestra concerts.
