WSU GREENFEST
During the week of Earth Day (April 21st-April 24th) we hosted a week of events which included green vendors and alternative energy experts. Our special guest on Earth Day was Kansas Lieutenant Governor Mark Parkinson.

AMERICA RECYCLES DAY RECYCLING CONTEST RESULTS
The WSU Green Group held a recycling contest on America Recycles Day which was November 15th. Following are the totals for each recyclable category:

WSU GREEN GROUP FRIEND OF THE EARTH AWARDS
The WSU Green Group awarded three organizations 2008 Friend Of The Earth awards on April 29, 2007. WSU Dining Services(Supporting Biodiesel), WSU Physical Plant(Recycling,Energy Conservation) and the WSU Public Relations Student Society of America(Used Jeans For Insulation Campaign) won awards for making a green impact on campus.
