Common Data Set (CSD) 2011-2012 (pdf file)
Collaborative initiative among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by College Board, Peterson’s, and U.S. News & World Report. Includes general information about WSU, enrollment characteristics, and persistence and graduate data on students.

WSU Self-Study for Higher Learning Commission Accreditation 2007 (pdf file)
Exhaustive self-study conducted by WSU as part of the accreditation review by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC-NCA) in 2006-2007. WSU will be reviewed again in 2016-17.

WSU Assessment Plans and Reports
Set of dashboards and reports that monitor WSU performance relative to Foresight 2020 goals which are part KBOR’s 10-year strategic agenda for higher ed. The dashboards relate to overall performance, student learning performance, and distance education plan.

WSU Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees supports the educational undertakings of the university and receives and holds in trust any property, real and personal, given in trust for the use or benefit of the university.

National Advisory Council
The National Advisory Council is dedicated to promoting the interests of WSU and the WSU Foundation.

WSU Foundation Board of Directors
The WSU Foundation Board of Directors is the governance body overseeing the work on the WSU Foundation and directing the work of the foundation president and CEO.

Summary data on current admissions, enrollment (including demographics and trends), course level, online courses, degrees conferred, and retention & graduation rates. Enrollment demographics include age, sex, ethnicity, geographic origin, etc. Compiled by WSU Office of Planning and Analysis.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
2011 results (XLS file) and 2011 related presentation (pdf file)
Survey of freshmen and seniors conducted in spring 2011. Focuses on two areas: 1) amount of time and effort students spend on classes and other educational activities and 2) how well the university uses resources and curriculum to get students to participate in activities important for learning. Results of earlier surveys in 2008 and 2009 as well as comparative multi-year benchmark reports are found on the WSU Office of Institutional Research website.

WSU Exit Survey 2012
Feedback from graduating students on their academic programs. Results compiled by academic year (fall, spring, summer) and reported by college division and academic program. Provides links to university overview and full results. Compiled by WSU Office of Planning and Analysis.
