AAFSA and Black Student Union Mixer

The meet and greet mixer with the Black Student Union was terrific. The mixer was held on August 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rhatigan Student Union room 223.  Over 40 students attended.  BSU president Kylan Pew welcomed us.  The mixer was well attended by African American students.  The president, vice president, and several members of AAFSA joined in the fun.  Members present include: Dr. Rhonda K. Lewis, Darryl Carrington, Victor Collins, Natalie Toney, Carmen Hytche (also BSU advisor) and Jackie Staley.  The mission of AAFSA was shared with the students and we talked about our upcoming Scholarship that was open to students.  The mission of AAFSA is to maintain an on-going support group for all African American employees and students at Wichita State University.
