Reshaping and Rebuilding

Wichita State will be required to cut its budget as the state deals with the recession. Our response will require us to examine every aspect of our operations and to openly discuss the mission and priorities of the university. I have committed to engaging the Faculty Senate Planning and Budget Committee and the Faculty Senate Executive Committee in this process. This section of the Provost's web page will include some of my communications to those committees and other materials that may inform our consideration of the budget challenge. As always, I will appreciate your comments on any of the material included here.
