Student Activities Council:
  • Is one of the largest student organizations on campus

  • Membership ranges from 50-100 members in an academic year

  • Is comprised of 6 unique committees which host over 60 programs annually

  • Helps to develop leadership skills by providing opportunity for hands-on-experience

  • Is a great resource for networking with other students and professionals on campus

  • Co-sponsors events with campus organizations and departments

Member Expectations:
  •   Be a positive example of SAC
  •   Attend weekly committee meeting
  •  Assist with committees' events and promotional activities
  •  Maintain regular communication with committee chair and the VP of Membership
  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA

Below are the SAC committee meeting times for each committee. You may find out more about these 6 different committees and the types of events SAC hosts by checking out the committees page.

Arts & Culture: Wednesdays, 12:00pm - 1:00pm (RSC 238)

Campus Traditions: Mondays, 3:00pm - 4:00pm (RSC 007)

Issues & Awareness: Fridays, 1:30pm - 2:30pm (RSC 007)

Shocker Fusion: Thursdays, 3:00pm - 4:00pm (McKinley 218)

Shocker Night Life: This committee is at full capacity and is currently not accepting new members

Weekenders: Wednesdays, 1:00pm - 2:00pm (RSC 240)
