Why I chose WSU
The faculty, staff and students showed a genuine interest in me as a person and truly invested in my future.
The sense of endless opportunity at the university. Switching my major from liberal arts & sciences to engineering has really opened my eyes at the opportunities across the entire campus, not just for one specific major.
The second floor of Ablah Library! This space offers me a place to study with my friends right in the heart of campus.
Don't be afraid to take a chance at something you may love. The worst that could happen is that you don’t like it and try something new, but the opportunity to have the best is what college is about.
Calculus III with Summer Steenburg. Not only is calculus my favorite subject, but Summer really cared about us as students and wanted us to succeed. She is one of the main motivators for my change of major and I couldn’t be more thankful for her impacting my time at WSU.
