Why I chose WSU
The people I met while visiting campus were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever talked to. Their passion for WSU was extraordinary and there were so many people who wanted to help me have the best possible experience. Pair that with the perfect location and an unbeatable value and WSU was the perfect choice for me!

Favorite thing
The close-knit, community feel. Everyone – faculty, staff and students – truly want to help you succeed with whatever you want to do. I have made some incredible friends, taken classes with instructors who have helped shape my career path and made connections that have and will continue to help me both personally and professionally.

Favorite place
I love hanging out in the Rhatigan Student Center. It’s the perfect place to study, meet friends, people watch, grab something to eat or hang out in Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes.

Get involved as soon as you begin your journey at Wichita State! Join organizations, make friends, build connections and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Discover who you are, what you believe and what you want to do. Doing this will make your college experience the best it can be!

Favorite class
Consumer Behavior, a marketing class with Dotty Harpool. It was a lot of fun to learn about what influences a person to buy, research or consume a particular product, and how a business or marketer can make a difference in that process. The class was very engaging and the instructor made each class a lot of fun!
